Just don\u2019t ask how many members they have. \u201cIt\u2019s strange,\u201d says singer <strong>Michael Dawson<\/strong>, who fronts the current eight-piece pop collective. \u201cThe first question in every interview is always about the size of the band. Truthfully, it\u2019s never been much of an issue.\u201d It\u2019s a wonder they don\u2019t need more members, what with their catchy, anthemic songs brimming with guitars, synths, organs, accordions, brass, strings, theremin and all manner of strange electronics. \u201cAt this point we\u2019ve got it down to a science. Not a hard science like chemistry \u2014 it\u2019s a little looser.
